Discover how the mountain was formed and explore the history of the people who lived on the mountain.
Mangere Mountain is one of the best preserved volcanoes in Auckland. There is much evidence remaining of the people who lived there.
Mangere Mountain Education Centre will be providing guided walks on the mountain over the summer season. The walks take 2 hours and are not too strenuous, but you will need to wear walking shoes.
